Best way to remove a tick. Apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball. Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and swab it for a few seconds (15-20), the tick will come out on it's own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away. Great for areas that are hard to get at with tweezers.

Know When to Delegate. Not delegating can be a waste of time and money. Determine where you time is best utilized and be willing to let go of time-consuming tasks that distract from you doing the most productive and profitable tasks you can.
For example, if your time should be used for personally contacting clients, but you are spending most of your time inputting into a database you might want to consider a part-time staff member to do database entry and free up your time.

Plan your day the night before. This gives you a chance to sleep and meditate on your schedule before putting it into action. This is something that Zig Ziglar does and it has worked well for him.

To keep cool in the yard, I keep the hose with a trigger spray handy. When I need to cool off, I just spray the water into the wind, with me downwind, and get a nice mist. Feels awesome!

Since we retired from Texas to Iowa, worlds of new food have opened up to us. Rhubarb! If you are in an area that has rhubarb, ask where you can pick it for free.
Mushrooms are free in season, just pick your own. Cherries are free in this area if you ask to pick them off the tree. Strawberries also. Heck, just ask farmers and neighbors for the right to pick any fruit or vegetable in season.
We have over 10 pounds of mushrooms in the freezer, wiped out 2 rhubarb patches right down the street and in the freezer. Same with cherries and strawberries. All free!
Why pay store prices for what you can pick free? And better prices than stores are the local farmers markets for what you can not pick free. We enjoy our new life here in Iowa with all the possibilities for free food. Join with us and start hunting for those berry patches, fruit trees, etc.

My tip is for cleaning glass, with a streak-free shine. Put Vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray it onto the glass and wipe off. It's cost-effective and works better than anything else I've used. And best of all...no streaks! =)

My best tip is to buy the Sunday paper with the coupons. Clip coupons and shop at the grocery store you have a 'coupon card' at. They usually will allow you to use your card for the discounts PLUS take the clipped coupon discount too! I've saved tons doing this!
