Hey, happy that we’re head at the start of another weekend. I’m in a shopping mood seeing as how I’ve let my shopping list grow to the length of my arm, so I’d best do something about it.
I’m excited that I sold my first blog review last weekend and another one yesterday. Right now, I’m doing an introductory offer for 20% off the normal price. Check out the blog review I wrote for Jill who sells computer books online. Go check out her book offers, they’ll love ‘em.
If you’re interested in having me write a review of your blog or website, you can get 20% off for the next 2 weeks or so. Click here for details. By the way, I write great reviews ;) Jill loved hers.
Though I’ve never said no when asked to go shopping (LOL), there are times when you should say no if saying yes is going to cause you unwanted stress. In our Modern Living article today, find out how to say no without feeling guilty about it for days afterwards.
Need to stay on track with your weight loss program? Sure, who doesn’t? So go read our second article today on how to do that successfully.

If you're like me, you find yourself frequently in sticky situations where you have been asked to do something you don't really want to do or have time to do.
After you say yes, you instantly feel your heart rate increase and you hate yourself for not being more assertive. It's true, in many situations on the job, saying no may not be an option.
But you don't have to say yes either. Learn to say no, or buy some time, with confidence, assertiveness and without the guilt by using these simple tips.
Kill Them With Kindness Tell them “I am so flattered that you have asked me to do this job. The job sounds like a lot of fun and sounds like a great experience and opportunity.
However, I have to turn down your offer.” And leave it at that. Never feel the need to explain. Remember when you make excuses, you leave it open for discussion.
Say Nothing Never feel obligated to give someone an answer right away. If you are always prone to saying yes, this could be a good way to begin to break your habit.
Ask them if you can have a day or two to think it over. Then if you really can’t face them and say no, email them a nice, professional response.
Be Honest Tell the truth. Interesting concept huh? Your honesty will get you more credibility and respect than you think. Especially if you say no nicely and respectfully.
Save It For Later If you are interested in helping but don’t have time now, schedule time to do it later. Say something like “I would be happy to do it. But I only have time to do it next week.” If that works for their schedule, great! If not, no harm is done.
Swap Tasks Why not do a task swap? Tell the person asking you for help if they would be willing to take on a task that you have to do. This can be especially helpful if it is a task you dislike doing.
Tell them you can only make time if you remove some things from your schedule. Review things that can be delegated and swap. Now everyone is happy.

3 Secrets To Resist Temptations When Dieting
by Terry Edwards
One of the most difficult things to handle while dieting can be those nasty cravings and temptations. They can sneak up on you at times and knock you right out if you don't know how to handle and resist them. Here are 3 tips to help you "just say no!"
1. Talk to a friend or family member
You're going along nicely on your diet for the day when suddenly, a craving for chocolate brownies hits you and hits you hard. What can you do?
You could give in, of course. But try calling a friend or family member instead. What this will do is take your mind off the brownie. They can also help give you moral support. This tip works if you will just try it.
2. Find a diet friend
When you are dieting with another friend or family member, it makes losing weight so much easier when you know they are with you in this. You can call them when you feel a temptation and likewise, you can cheer each other on in the good times.
3. Use the internet
Use the computer to your advantage. Sign up for an online diet program like Fat Loss 4 Idiots, or find some forums that allow you to talk with others online about weight loss issues that you are going through.
We have all been through them and you will find so much help. You'll also discover tips, tricks and much more. And the best part is that you will be doing it right from home.
When you're on a diet, cravings and temptations are bound to hit you from time to time. The next time they do try some of these tips and see if they don't help. I think you'll be happy with the results.
